Tim Perrino
Author/Director/Artistic Director
In 1982, Tim founded Cincinnati Young People’s Theatre (CYPT), which has evolved into Cincinnati Landmark Productions. In 2013, Tim ended his captaincy of the Showboat Majestic after 23 adventurous seasons. This is his 15th season at the Covedale Center for the Performing Arts, the 2nd year at the Warsaw Federal Incline Theater and the 35th summer of CYPT (2016’s mega-hit show WEST SIDE STORY). CYPT was awarded the prestigious Post-Corbett award for Outstanding Arts Organization in 2001. In 2008, Tim was awarded “The Trailblazer Award” via the Enquirer’s Acclaim awards, and along with Denny Reed and his wife Jennifer, he was inducted into the Cincinnati Entertainment Awards Hall of Fame in 2009. Regionally, Tim has directed in Indiana, Kentucky and Illinois, including (for 15 years) the annual Youth Sing Praise performance at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, near St. Louis, Missouri. Thanks Doug, board, staff and patrons of Cincinnati Landmark Productions – and everyone who shares our many theatrical adventures all through the year. Most of all, Tim thanks his wife Jennifer for her incredible work, humor, faith, love and support.
